The Review Panel gives you a complete overview of all comments without having to navigate back to individual drawings. It is the primary place to assess the state of a review before exporting.

What the Review Panel shows

Each entry in the Review Panel corresponds to a comment on the drawing. The entry includes:

  • The item number (matches the number on the drawing and in exports)
  • The comment title and description
  • The current status
  • Replies from any project member
  • The drawing and revision the comment belongs to

Using the Review Panel before export

Before generating an Excel or PDF export, use the Review Panel to:

  • Check that every comment has been reviewed and is in the correct status.
  • Read any replies that may need a response before the export goes out.
  • Confirm item numbers are sequential and complete — gaps may indicate deleted or merged items that should be noted.
  • Look for open items that the engineering firm has not yet acknowledged.

Exporting with items still open is sometimes intentional — for example, to send a progress snapshot mid-review. In that case, note in the cover email that the comment list includes open items.

Selecting a comment in the Review Panel takes you to the corresponding annotation on the drawing. This is useful for verifying the exact position of a comment when reviewing replies from the engineering firm.
