How do I make a drawing title block template?
Choose the sheet size, orientation and layout, and adjust the margins if you need a binding edge.
Fill in any fields you want printed on the sheet, and leave the rest blank to write in.
Select Generate template and save the PDF, the SVG, the DXF for CAD, or all three.
How is the title block laid out?
Generate an original drawing sheet template with a border and a title block, on any sheet from A0 to A6, as PDF, SVG and DXF. Every layout is drawn from first principles for this platform.
The border is inset from the sheet edge by the margin you set, with an extra inset on the left for binding. The title block sits in the bottom-right corner and its height follows from the fields the chosen layout carries: each field takes a fraction of the block width and a field that will not fit in the remaining width starts a new row. The PDF, SVG and DXF are generated from the same geometry, so the border and boxes match exactly; SVG measures down the page, while PDF and DXF measure up it. The DXF is full size in millimetres, with the border, the block, its text and the traceability line on separate layers.
How Xenmark makes it easy to make a drawing title block template

Choose an A-series sheet and an orientation, and get a border with the title block placed in the bottom-right corner, as PDF, SVG and DXF. Each sheet also carries a small line reading "Xenmark original template xenmark.title-block/v1" under the border, which you can remove in your own software.

Three layouts, from compact to formal
Compact carries project, title, number and revision. Standard adds client, drawn and checked by, scale, date and sheet size. Extended adds discipline, issue status and approved by.
Fill it in now or write in later
Type any field you want printed on the sheet. Anything left empty is drawn as a blank box, ready to complete by hand or in your drawing software.
Margins and a binding edge you set
Set the border margin from 5 to 40 mm and add up to 40 mm more on the left for binding. On small sheets, wide margins leave no room for the block and are refused. The preview redraws with every change.
Nothing to install
It runs in the browser you already have. There is no plug-in, no desktop application and no sign-up to get through first.
Limitations
What this tool does not do, stated up front.
The layouts are original and generic. They are not any standards-body sheet and not any particular practice convention, so check the fields against what your project actually requires.
Text is limited to the Western European character set. Letters outside it, such as Polish ł or Greek, are refused rather than substituted, because a title block reading "Rev ?" would be worse than one that was not produced.
Only A-series sheets, A0 to A6, are offered, and each field value is limited to 120 characters. US, ANSI and ARCH paper sizes are not available.
Questions
Where do these layouts come from, and may I use them?
Yes, without restriction: Xenmark drew them from first principles, and you may use, change and issue sheets made with them on any project, with no fee. No standards-body sheet, client template or third-party drawing was copied or measured. What stays ours is the tool and the underlying layout designs, not your output.
Is this a recognised standard sheet?
No, and it does not claim to be. At minimum, a title block should show the project, drawing title, drawing number and revision, which the Compact layout carries; Standard adds client, drawn and checked by, scale, date and sheet size. Check the fields against what your project requires.
Can I use this title block in AutoCAD?
Yes. Download the DXF: it opens in AutoCAD and other CAD software at full size in millimetres, with the border, the title block, its text and the traceability line on separate layers. A DWG is not offered, because DWG is a closed format; save the DXF as a DWG from AutoCAD if you need one. The PDF can also be attached as an underlay.

So these everyday tools are free and run entirely in your browser: no account, and nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
